Seminar on Wireless Sensor Networks, November 03, 2014 Asst.Prof. Sonali Chouhan, who is from IIT Guwahati, India and is visiting our department with "TUBITAK 2221 - Fellowships for Visiting Scientists and Scientists on Sabbatical" programme gave her talk entitled "Computation-Communication Energy Trade-off in Wireless Sensor Networks: Is it Really Important?".

In her talk, Dr. Chouhan presented the importance of computation energy accounting while taking design decisions for energy efficiency of a WSN. She introduced a system level technique to reduce the sensor network energy consumption.
